(i wrote this at like midnight last night, and then after that i couldn't sleep.)
(also, this is edited down.)
you're my old spice dog, dancing on two feet,
try 3, 1, 2, 3, higher and higher
and everything you say is based on a system of scissors, clones, and glue while your octopus menagerie of problems regrows its missing feelings for people who also have feelings for people who try to have feelings.
as we sit in a hallway, getting our fill of sours and sugar, you called me some name i haven't heard since i spent my warm, sunny california days under a beige cloth cover stretched over a deep cement amphitheatre. as we sit secretly behind a corner where only thirsty little kids venture, we watch an old movie and discuss teleporting versus apparating.
it's you telling me that the letter i wrote you during spanish, math, and detention was the best card you'd ever gotten and that you were going to frame it and put it on the wall, that made me want to write you a thousand more letters.
and maybe i will, and maybe this is one of them; one of the many, i'm sure, that i will never give you or send you.

safety.
oh wow. good times in spanish iii.
(christina trying to fasten her seatbelt for paco y pico)

we
are
cool.
i miss that girl a lot. occasionally she comes by my locker and kicks me, and usually makes fun of me for being short.
...and the frost dragon came along and blew you all out of the mall! WOOOOSHHH!

when i told you two sugars i actually meant three
this week is a four day week.
:)
my room is slowly becoming covered in photographs, plus one facebook graffiti that mary made and printed out for me. it is a drawing of my friend giving me fluffy jr, the llama. we have turquoise lips because she had a dream that he was giving me fluffy jr, and he had blue lips, so she decided i should have blue lips too.
i found a shot glass in my drawer (why is there a shot glass in my drawer? i haven't the faintest idea, really) and filled it with water and drank it. BAMF.
and my mom told my dad he looked like a lumberjack, and then we started singing the lumberjack song from monty python.

21st century kid
i think i'm finally being more like who i want to be; i'm not a scared, shy little kid anymore. i keep thinking "go for it" instead of "i shouldn't."

like a kick drum
tomorrow is a delayed opening, and i really need it so i can catch up on my sleep.
and even if boys are stupid my halloween's still going to be awesome, because we are going to talk about silly shit and important things and we're going to take pictures and walk around and look at adorable little kids in costumes, and play silly internet games and stupid board games and download music, and draw with chalk. we'll probably walk around for an hour to stash up on candy, and if she stays the night we'll get up early and take pictures, or get up late and procrastinate.

the townfolk clapped, i was only five.
i find it morally wrong for me to eat enchiladas now.
also, remind me never to let film cameras near senseless eighth graders ever again (not that all of them are senseless).
and remind me to tell you i love you.
ahaha. i had a conversation with maureen about plum pudding and empty space and electrons and it all made sense, and i rearranged my corkboard so that all of tina's letters were stacked on top of each other with one pin in the corner, so they could be read like a book. i was proclaimed a medium at school, but a small at the studio, which is another reason i like studio life better. we can talk about fleas and cows and flamingos, and about 19th century novels, and errant hairs.
i drew on my wall with chalk, and i'm not sure if it's going to come off easily. i know if i spray it with water and dab it it'll come off, but i don't know how clean that will be. i want to draw all over my walls with chalk but somehow i don't think my parents would be at all okay with that.
maybe i could be like irwin and walk to kuwait to start a fingerpainting school.

math=rollercoaster
i just spent an hour and fifteen minutes of my time in a stupid midrasha conversation, about pentacostals and united holiness and judaism, and then we were talking about egyptians and greeks, and the whole time i was wishing i could be dancing or finishing a project.
i'm excited for halloween.
